A bus company operates hourly buses between Bangalore and Madras. The buses start at the same time from each city. The running time of each bus is 8 hrs. The buses operate from 6 am to 6pm.

How many buses will the driver cross on the way if he leaves at 6 am?

    First 3 hour no bus will cross
    at 4th hour 1st bus will cross
    then 5th , 6th and 7th hour buses will cross And on 8th hour he will reach at there destination
    so total 4 busses he will cross
    Ans is 4
