A frog at the bottom of a well, which is sixteen feet deep, tries to get out of it. Each day he jumps up four feet but slips back three.

At this rate how many days will take to reach, the top of the well?

  2. 13 days because it jumps 12 feet for 12 days in the day of 13th it will directly jump out of the well 4 feets

  3. each day he jumps up 4 feet but slips back 3 i.e. each day he actually jumps upto only 1 feet.so he will reach the top in 16 days

  6. 4 feet up and 3 feet down a day ,so he makes 1 feet a day .so for 12 day 12 feet and on 13th day he jumps 4 feet and make it on dat day

  12. 16 days is not the proper answer
    as on 12th day frog reaches up to height of 12 feet so now on 13th day if he jumps of 4 more feet then he reaches to the entire height of 16 feet which means frog is now on the top of well.
