I went for shopping in Virginian market. I had altogether $140 in
pocket. When i walked out of market I did not have a single penny
instead I had a shirt, a pair of chappals and a purse.
The shirt costs $90 more than the purse and the shirt and purse cost together $120 more than the pair of chappals.
Can you predict the value of each item?
Chappals = $10
Purse = $20
Shirt = $110
Way to Answer
Instead of 3 Item, If I bought 2 Pairs of Chappals,
Cost will $140 - $20 = $20
Hence One Pair Costs $10.
Shirt and Purse together Cost $140-$10=$130. We also know Shirt is $90 More expensive than purse.
Now Use the Same reasoning again, Had I bought 2 purses instead of Shirt and a Purse, I would have to pay not to $130 but $90 less.
